Tracee Ellis Ross always seems to have a unique designer piece tucked away somewhere in her closet, and the Black-ish alum’s latest eye-popping Bottega accessory is giving us a lesson in Scandinavian-style minimalism.

On Wednesday in a new Instagram post, Ross posed in an ash-colored two-piece that could work as a sci-fi uniform straight out of Dune or Star Trek. The asymmetrical long-sleeved top featured a sharply cut bottom hem that extended all the way to the floor, where the rounded edge just barely pooled onto the ground. The top was paired with matching straight-leg pants, stuffed into wide black leather boots with small snap closures on the top.

Although she mainly wore neutrals, Ross added a pop of bright color to the cloudy palette. In the first image, you can see a small Kalimero bag from Bottega Veneta in bright vermillion in the bottom right corner. In later slides, Ross has the woven leather accessory dangling from her arm as she takes mirror selfies to show off the full fit.

The Golden Globe winner was seemingly snapping selfies behind the scenes of a photo shoot, because the same slideshow included another stylish look: a black minidress composed entirely of fringe strands, which she paired with inky ankle booties that had a slightly sloped topline, following the shape of her foot. Although she was killing the fashion game yet again, Ross kept it coy in the caption, where she simply wrote, “Hi.”
