Cheltenham Festival 2024: the best dressed guests at the races

From fashion royalty to actual royalty, see the best outfits from the 2024 races so far

    It’s been a thrilling few days for fashion and beauty fanatics. Two days ago the A-listers brought as much glitz and glamour to the 96th Oscars ceremony as they did to the afterparties in the early hours of Monday morning.

    Now, we’re straight back on home turf for the 2024 Cheltenham festival – one of the most sartorially significant events of the British social season.

    As ever, we’re scoping out the best looks, the sartorial trends and the OTT headpieces donned by guests in the Gloucestershire town. Unlike Royal Ascot, Cheltenham has no strict dress code and instead suggests: "Style is as individual as you.     Jade showcased a modern twist on classic styling with her houndstooth patterned suit, complemented by a gold chain and dark sunglasses.

    Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Talulah Riley

    The recently engaged Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Talulah Riley sported a quintessential British countryside look. Thomas donned a brown houndstooth jacket, a turtleneck sweater, and tan trousers while Talulah stunned in a dark brown trench coat with a wide-brimmed hat.

    Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson

    Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson proved Cheltenham is truly a high-fashion event, with Ed opting for a brown coat over a black turtleneck and leather trousers. Meanwhile Amy kept things classic in a checked three-piece suite with a white blouse and tan boots.

    Lydia Millen and Ali Gordon

    Cheltenham regular Lydia Millen wore a dark green plaid Holand Cooper coat with gold buttons, white pussybow blouse, and a striking sculptural wide-brimmed hat.

    St Patrick's Thursday is always a lively day at Cheltenham, and designer Jade Holland Cooper nodded to the theme in her own brand's maroon coat featuring a dark green plaid pattern, worn with a matching waistcoat and trousers. She accessorised with a black crocodile Holland Cooper handbag.

    Princess Beatrice

    Princess Beatrice wore a camel-hued A-line coat with concealed buttons, black suede ankle boots and a dazzling statement headband on day three of the races.

    Georgia Toffolo

    Georgia Toffolo stunned in a brown suede coat dress from Fairfax and Favor, paired with a white turtleneck, a red satin skirt, a chocolate brown handbag and a statement red headband.

    Princess Eugenie

    The stylish royal nailed fashion's favourite all-white dress code in a Reiss trench, a white felt fedora and brown boots from Penelope Chilvers. 

    Zara Tindall

    On day two, Zara opted for navy pinstripes complete with tones of burgundy.

    Proudlock and Emma Louise Connolly

    Emma wore a grey gilet and navy trench, both from Fairfax & Favor, paired with a gigot-sleeved blouse, zebra-print trousers and boots. Proudlock opted for white trousers, a khaki green shirt, a Herringbone waistcoat, also from Fairfax & Favor and a square-printed coat.

    Jade Holland Cooper

    Jade opted for another matching suit and trench combo on day two, this time opting for a statement navy and white houndstooth pattern.

    Louise Roe

    The fashion broadcaster and entrepreneur opted for an emerald green maxi skirt paired with a biscuit-hued cape from Fairfax & Favor, tan ankle boots and a croc-print bag also from the brand.

    Queen Camilla

    Queen Camilla opted for a bottle green belted coat with a chic fluffy hat and black suede boots.

    Matthias wore a checkered double-breasted suit complete with an orange and brown tie.

    Onyi Moss

    Onyi Moss stunned in a bubblegum pink mini dress and a matching trench, black tights and black buckled block heels.

    Brandon Hinton

    Brandon wore a velvet suit layered with a brown fluffy jacket, finished off with knee-high brown boots.

    Zara Tindall

    Zara, the British equestrian and daughter of Princess Anne, oozed chic in a navy cape coat, layered with a blue turtleneck. She finished off with a grey headpiece, gloves and the navy Croc Mini Loxley bag from Fairfax & Favor.

    A guest perfected pink at the races in a vintage-style checked coat with a Peter Pan collar and gigot sleeves. She wore a matching headpiece and burgundy accessories.

    A racegoer opted for a white tweed suit complete with a Chanel bag and all-black accessories.

    Holland Cooper founder Jade perfected the three-piece suit in a brown houndstooth ensemble with a matching tailored coat.
